Spring has come!!

It is the middle of March and already the snow is gone from the streets. It is almost time to drag the scooter out of the shed and get it gassed up.
I am now 23 weeks pregnant and feeling great. A little bit of heartburn now and then but that is about it. This baby is moving around more and more these days and I am just in wonder that there really is a little human being inside of me. I realized that I did not post any pictures of our little one so here is a picture from the ultrasound.
Mike wrote his phase 2 exam and aced it with a 91%. He is doing really well and I am so very excited for him. He is working on phase 2 of his real estate course and then he is done. I can't wait for that day. God has blessed us both with so much and I am forever grateful!

A new addition!!!

Hey everyone,
I have not been very faithful in keeping the info here updated. So the newest news is that Mike and I are going to have a baby. I am now five months pregnant and really enjoying being pregnant. I have not really had any morning sickness just a little bit of nauseousness. I have started to feel the baby moving around which is so amazing! What a wonderful gift from God.
Mike is studying for his phase 2 exam. He should be able to write soon.
Mike and I are both in a wedding next week. I am really excited about going to this wedding, I just know it will be a lot of fun. Hopefully I will fit my dress.

Sorry, no pictures!!

This last weekend Mike and I went up to Uncle Klaus and Aunt Dorothy's cabin with Whitney and Darren. It was really good to get away for a weekend. The weather was not all that nice on friday when we got there, it was pretty windy same thing for Saturday and then on Sunday it rained. They were in the process of building a new cabin so us four slept in the loft of the unfinished cabin while A. Dorothy, U. Klaus, Klaus' brother and Klaus' brothers colleague slept in the finished cabin. It was a lot of fun, and soooooo much good food.
We went boating on Saturday and did a little tanning or in my case, burning. On Sunday we all showered in the outdoor shower (which is an actual out door working, hot water shower). It was nice to get clean again. Then after breakfast we left and drove to Winnipeg. Here we met up with Dan and Stacey and did some shopping and then out for supper at Tony Roma's. It was really good. We then decided to go to see a movie at the cheap seats and upon Mike's suggestion we went to see 'Fighting'. We left about 45 minutes in cause it was so bad. Really slow and boring and very poor acting. Anywhoos, all around it was a really good weekend.

My first garden!!

I planted my first garden today. My mother in law has hurt her arm and did not want to grow a garden this year. Soooo, Mike and I went out to Boissevain to plant the garden. We planted potatoes, beans, carrots, beats, corn, watermelon, cantelope, onions and pumpkin. I am so excited to see them grow. I will be planting some tomatoes and peppers when our chance of frost is much less.

finally some pictures!!

We have pictures of Mike and I with our scooter. Which is a blast to drive by the way. I am loving it. Here are the pictures of us when we bought the scooter. We have some other pictures of certain friends of ours who road the scooter double but those will come at a later date.

Spring has sprung!!

Well the weather has finally gotten warmer and I have my first sunburn of 2009. Well, I guess that is not true since I got a sunburn in the Dominican in January so I officially have my 2nd sunburn of 2009. The snow is all gone and I have been out on my scooter for almost a month now. I was a little leery at first due to my lack of experience driving a motorized vehicle on two wheels, but now I am just flying around (and yes I am being safe).
I have just recently been employed for a part time job as a secretary at Reactive Massage. I will be learning the ropes in the beginning of June. I am really excited. Mike is still hoping to hear back from a some jobs that he has applied for, so if you could keep that in your prayers that would be great.
I have come up with some really great ways to spruce up our yard and I can't wait to get started. There are only a few things standing in the way right now but once those things clear up I will be on my way to having a sell-able back yard!!

Our day at the fair!!!

Mike and I took our nieces, minus one, to the Brandon Winter Fair today. We had a blast. The girls each had allowance money to spend and it was so awesome to watch them try to decide how they were going to spend that money. They wanted to make smart choices so that they would not be wasting their money but yet they still wanted to get something fun. They all made really good choices: Jada and Isabella both bought necklaces and Hailey bought a balloon with water in it (it is bouncy and a good choice for a girl of the age of 4). With the last of their money they bought cotton candy! mmm suger! We really had a great time!
