I planted my first garden today. My mother in law has hurt her arm and did not want to grow a garden this year. Soooo, Mike and I went out to Boissevain to plant the garden. We planted potatoes, beans, carrots, beats, corn, watermelon, cantelope, onions and pumpkin. I am so excited to see them grow. I will be planting some tomatoes and peppers when our chance of frost is much less.

Just to let you know that some of your potatoes are already a foot tall, and the pumpkins are in the 3-4 leaf stage. I counted 21 corn plants, maybe not enough to can but enough to eat. Really looking good!
